Last Sunday, Duck Pond Day brought sunny skies and some wonderful people to our table to discuss Tesla and our efforts to save his last remaining laboratory, Wardenclyffe.
Thanks to seventh-grader Elizabeth Marge and her dad, Ron, who brought her science research project on Tesla to exhibit. It created a stir among the kids who enjoyed trying the circuit connector that turned the tower dome. Her display was enjoyed by everyone who took the time to look it over.
All-in-all, it was a successful event. We got some good leads on potential corporate support, and a few dozen people signed our contact list, too. There were even quite a few people wearing Tesla Science Center t-shirts by the end of the day!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, to ask a question, or to offer help. We enjoyed meeting you all and look forward to the day when we can greet you at the door of Wardenclyffe!
