Sign up for New Cleanup Work Sessions at the Tesla Site

Posted May 17, 2013

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 18, we will hold the next work session to clean up the Tesla site.We will trim back vegetation near the tower base that currently blocks the view of the former Tesla laboratory from Route 25A; continue to clear the path to the lab building; and clean up the path from that building to the tower base.

Among other items on our “clean-up-soon” list is the southwest corner near the intersection of Route 25A and Randall Road. There, we will trim back the invasive vegetation and will soon begin with some initial, ground-level landscaping improvements. It is our hope that clearing the line of sight around that corner even further, might help improve the safety of the intersection on Route 25A.

We are using VolunteerSpot.com to help us organize this event. Please click the short link (http://vols.pt/cEJGjo) to learn more and sign up to help. Thanks for making a difference!

Please note that our primary concern is the safety of everyone who visits the site as well as the integrity primarily of the historic Tesla laboratory. Furthermore, we must insure that Tesla Science Center as the new owner remains a viable organization and unencumbered by any legal actions. We therefore ask all volunteers to sign a waiver of liability prior to performing any work on or near the site. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
