The third cleanup season at Tesla’s Wardenclyffe site will start in earnest in May. However, we got a lot of top soil delivered, and we will start spreading it tomorrow, Saturday, April 18, 9—12 noon, especially near the Tesla statue where we are setting up an information kiosk for the public. The kiosk will be accessible from the sidewalk; people can learn about Tesla and his Wardenclyffe lab while the site is still closed for restoration.
The spring cleanup calendar will soon be available at VolunteerSpot.com. Please check back here tonight whether the sign-up for tomorrow’s work session is already available. (Update: It is now available, see group page at http://vols.pt/S49q4B.)
If you live locally and wish to help on short notice, please read the information about Volunteering (the information is from last year, and an update is in progress); please print out the waiver of liability form and bring it to the cleanup.
