Saturday, December 5 from 3 p.m.
Trees will be lit at 4:15 p.m.

For the third year, Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe will be holding a community tree lighting on the grounds of the Nikola Tesla laboratory in Shoreham. On Saturday, December 5, at 3 p.m., community groups who have pre-registered will decorate trees that are set up around the base of what was once Tesla’s wireless transmission tower.

There will be an opportunity for the community to see the newly installed inscribed bricks around the statue of Tesla at that time. At 4 p.m. we will be honoring the Eagle Scouts who have contributed to the improvements at Wardenclyffe.

At 4:15 p.m. the trees will be lit.

Santa will be making a visit to the event around 4 p.m.

The public is invited to visit the site for the tree lighting. Parking is available on site.

The laboratory is located on the northeast corner of Route 25A and Randall Road in Shoreham, and the entrance is on Randall Road.

Community Groups: Sign up to decorate a tree. We provide the tree and lights; you provide the weather-resistant decorations. Scout groups, businesses, service groups, etc., may sign up to decorate a tree by Monday, November 23. We have a limit to the number of trees we can accommodate, so first come—first served!
